Our store carries items which are hand crafted, made by individuals, family owned businesses and cooperatives. They are all unique and very beautiful.  When we purchase these items we pay a fair market price and ensure that the person who is making the item receives a livable wage.  We inspect working conditions and confirm with the worker what wages they actually receive.  This is the first benefit of buying our products.

The second benefit is that our profits go back into the communities to support projects such as homes for the widows, schools and classrooms, medical and dental clinics and the installation of wood efficiency stoves.
